Beanless Chili

Basic Ingredients:

2 lbs organic grass-fed ground beef (I used one 85% and one 90% lean)

2 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp ground coriander

1/8-1/4 tsp ground cayenne (optional)

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tbsp or more minced garlic (the kind from a jar)

2 – 16 ounce jars Organic Mild Salsa (I used the Kroger’s Simple Truth Organic brand)

Salt and pepper to taste

Saute the ground beef with the spices until lightly browned. Add the salsa. Saute on low for 10 min. Squeeze a wedge of fresh lime juice on top of your serving of chili and garnish as desired. 


You can eat it just like this If you like with or without the following garnishes.


For garnish:

Lime wedge to juice over the chili (adds immense flavor)

Chopped green or red onion

Chopped fresh tomato

Chopped cilantro

Sour cream

Grated Mexican cheese mix

Diced Avocado
